Good College but look for Better

The college is avg, the teaching sucks and a lot of your time will be wasted if you dont know how to manage it,the good point-- i don't see any.just if you want to go to placement i.e TCS or Infosys, go to this college it will provide you. College Management how I can forget this,the worst I dont know a better word than worst, actually the management if not at all supportive for any small query of your's you are going to get a scold from them, no matter what you ask, I would rank -1 out of 5 to them.

I took PET in 2013 and scored 135 in that, I had also given JEE ADVANCE but didn't make it, at 135 marks i applied in this college and as we all have thoughts for our new new college life, I too have the same, after 2 and half months of college I am full frustrated, sure you can get placement in service oriented company from this college as it is the most reputed engineering college of Indore, but if you really want to learn, skip this college and do something different, this college lacks quality teachers, the teachers are worst you can get. At last if you really want to learn and get knowledge better go to any other college who can provide a quality education and not cries for blah blah number of students get placed.

Actually saying good to this college is not possible, this college is nothing in research, they even cant teach properly so we cant expect them in research , all they know is just how to make a student in class for attendance, I just got heavy and long naps in class and it's just very annoying and difficult.

No, I don't think they provide, there are some inside projects running in our college like maintenance of college site but I don't think they get some stipend for that, for all I know, there is nothing like that word in IET

oH, they are just awesome if you want a job, If you also dream of TCS, Infosys and some other companies like these, then You wont get a better college than this one in Indore, all the major MNC's (service oriented) comes in our college, and if you are an avg student and wanted to get a job in that, then you can easily achieve and make your parents proud of at least that one

There are many events celebrated in our colleges, there are also many groups which conduct many activities time to time, the recent celebration which I know is Garba Event, we also celebrate holi and Ganesh chaturti, these festivals are mainly celebrated by students of hostels and events like Ganesh Chaturti are not celebrated by the locals of Indore

The fee -structure is feasible, at my time I have to pay 62k around for an year and plus the exam registration fee or every sem, exam fee is 1500 rs,I wont say it is expensive as this is quite normal now a days. At the time of first year you have to pay complete fee in one go and later on you have to pay the fee sem wise, actually you can pay the fee in instalment also in 1year, the fee for the odd sem is aroud 38k and for the even sem is around 21 k.

NO, I dont know anything about loan or scholarship, also there is something which I have seen like special aid for students who are not able to pay their fees, but for normal students I have not seen any scholarship / loan facility, the scholarship is provided for the obc and lower caste students but their is nothing for the General.

Campus life teaches you how to waste your time in college, how you can manage to waste your precious time in crap lectures and labs, we also get a hour for lunch break, that is too much, the gender ration is equal there are almost equal number of boys and girls and as it happens there may be some less girls in the Mechanical Department, I belong to CS and there are nice ratio of girl and boys, Yup extra curricular activities are a part of Indore colleges, a many events are conducted by every now and then college.

I am a localite of Indore, so I have not there in hostel but as I have heard from friends the mess and hostel really sucks, the mess food is not something which one can eat on daily basis if you are a food lover ( like me) they I think you are going to hate food, (these all is just what I heard no personal views on that), the hostel life sucks too, even ragging is banned in India, but in the first year you are supposed to do as your senior order you, there is ragging a lot and I have seen a lot examples of it

Yes senior are helpful, whenever you need help of them you can ask them and they will surely guide you, I dont know about the alumni network much but there are many students at reputed places not in India but outside India also which were from IET, the part of IET may be big or small in that But they are at that Position.

The Exams are conducted after every sem and they were pretty good compared with other colleges as exams are on time and well planned.I already mentioned about the labs, actually you can get even worse lab teachers than ours but believe me our lab assistants are also worse, they themselves dont know much and whenever you ask some quality questions they skip telling that find that on net.

okay, it's not that all the faculty are dumb and don't know anything, there are many teachers, professors who are phd holder, who know how to teach and what to teach and how to make interest in student for the subjects, in the first year although we did get one only, but in later years chances of getting good teacher increases, but with time your passion for engineering surely decreases in this environment of college, also worth mentioning, with the good one there are plenty of bad ones, in the whole college span you will not get a good lab assistant, they sucks, all the study you have to do by yourself only.
