Pranay's Review On Symbiosis Institute Of Business Management - [SIBM], Nagpur

This is a 2 year management course with 4 semesters. Each semester contains generic core courses including Fincance, Logistics and Supply Management, Human Resource, Marketing etc. It's exam structure is the same as any other Symbiosis faculty.

2019-20 is the first batch of SIBM. So, as of now no placements or internship opportunities have been provided in the faculty of Nagpur but the other Symbiosis Universities brings placements and internships from huge brands. So, SIBM Nagpur will also hold huge placement opportunities.

College holds several social awareness events, activities and has various clubs. Clubs which conduct events and activities in which most of the students participate actively. It also conducts events like debates, quiz, case study competition etc.

For MBA, the total academic fee is ?6.85 lakh per annum which is to be paid in 2 equal installments. The Fee structure varies depending on the Hostel and Mess fee and also for Indian Or International students.

SIBM has got plenty of facilities for extra curriculum like Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Futsal Court, Throwball Court, Library, Computer Lab, Hostel. These courts are fully functional and brand new.

The college has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Hostel Fee for AC is ?1,20,000 per annum which varies depending on the sharing. Hostel Fee for Non- AC - 3 sharing is ?1,00,000 per annum and Non - AC - 2 sharing is ?1,05,000 per annum.

SIBM has an ALMAT committee which tries to build a bond between the students and the alumni. ALMAT students gets to have an active interaction with the alumni. The college also hosts guest lectures hosted by SIBM alumni.

Admission in SIBM is based on the performance in the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude) test . It is an online test conducted once in a year by the Symbiosis University. This test is followed by GE-PIWAT process which includes Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test. Final admission is done based on the marks of both SNAP test and GE-PIWAT.
