College best for designing

The Design Village is a good and a well adapt college for designing. Students pursuing design , should consider this college. In every aspect, the college is nice and well established. Staffs are very helpful and the atmosphere of the college is so freshning.

Course curriculum is good here. Semester wise exams are held for four solid years. The exam papers are not so easy nor so tough. Subjects are quite easy to understand. Practical classes are held every day for the students, and make them understand step by step.

The placement record is 100% . Top companies like JCBL, Shades of India, Caya, GOMAADS, Design Factory-India visits the college every year and takes almost all the students. Internships are held for the intrested students. Placemnt cell , like any other colleges , is also available here.

The fee in this college is quite expensive , 4.88lakhs in total. But the college helps those students who are not financially stable. In first semester , a student has to pay 450,000 and it goes on for 4 years. Tuition fees varies from semester to semester. In first and second semester , one needs to pay 1,00,000. Third and fourth semester, it is 125000. Fifth and Sixth , student has to pay 150000 and seventh , the fees is 225000. The last semester, it is 175000. It's a bit expensive but concessions are been made by the college.

TDV offers scholarship to students on a need and marit basis. Students who has an excellent marks in TDV entrance test are given 100% scholarship. Other scholarships like Sibling Scholarship, Single Parenting Scholarship, Defense Backgroung Scholarship are also available that offers 20-70% concessions.

The college helds exhibition where ordinary people and also students from other designing colleges visits the studios. Conference also held in TDV where not only people from India , but also International designer gives speeches. Countries like France hosts TDV international summer and winter workshops. Competitions are hosted for enjoyment.

Hostels are available for both Boys and Girls hostel. It's a walkable distance from the main campus. Fees varies from different ranges depending on the needs of the students. Tv room, a playing room , mess and a common room are available. The washrooms are neat and regular water services are there. Caretaker takes a good care to the hostellers and is very friendly to everyone.

Admission process is quite simple.Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. An entrance test are held where the candidates must obtain a valid score. I had a good score so I took admission here.

The TDV faculties are very skilled and a well knowledgable. They are also very friendly and give them their level best to make each and every student understand the concept. The techniques they use to teach the students is outstanding. They even clear the doubts if a student having one. They are also very supportive towards their students and motivates them always. The other staffs are also very good and friendly and helps everyone, who is in need.
