Course Curriculum Overview
Fashion designing is an art of knowing each and every aspect of the field thoroughly. Keeping that in mind, the university has set up a detailed course curriculum which covers all the required information and knowledge about the trends in fashion designing. The course is well focused on the research purposes and for future prospects.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are good, but all students do not opt for placements. Good internships are offered by companies like Label Sugar, Masaba, etc. They also invite local companies. The faculty members arrange spots for us as volunteers for fashion shows as well as exhibition of famous designers like Umang and Anju Modi.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Keeping in mind the fact that the college makes it so comfortable for the students to blend in, the fee structure for this course here is quite feasible. It is INR 4.5 lakhs for 4 years, which is worth the money spent here in this college.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are also performed in the college campus. Each and every festival is celebrated in the campus. We the freshers every year get a chance to take part in the volunteer of the event. We get a chance to experience the work under pressure.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides very good hostel facilities. Clean rooms which are large and comfortable for the students, a good Wi-Fi connectivity, service of food is also of good quality. The rooms are shared by 2-3 students in the hostel. The hostel for girls is inside the college campus, which makes it safe and secure.
Admission
The admission application process is online. I submitted the required documents on the official website. For the eligible candidates, I had to appear for the UnitedWorld Institute of Design Aptitude Test (UID Design Aptitude Test). This test is be conducted in 2 phases: Round 01: Studio Round (Campus Situation Test) Round 02: Professional Interview & Portfolio is Mandatory (PI). A portfolio is Mandatory for PI. After all these processes are done, I was granted admission here.
Faculty
The faculty members in our college are well-qualified. They have a good knowledge about the recent updates of the field. They are very supportive as well. The course curriculum teaches almost everything that is required in the field of fashion designing like a block print, hand weaving, tie and dye, etc.
