With all the facilities provided by the university, the fee structure for this course is quite feasible and can be worth the money spent. The fee for this course is INR 4.80 Lakh which is for 3 years and all these come with good job opportunities.
Campus Life
There are several extracurricular activities such as NSS camps, NCC camps, sports events, etc. Also, there are workshops held for the journalism department students which encourages their participation as it deals with interesting topics which imparts much knowledge about this field.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities provided by the college is quite commendable. The rooms are clean with good beds, study tables for the students and sufficient water supply. The mess of the hostel also maintains a diet system with good food quality.
Admission
The admission application for those course is online. I submitted the necessary documents and I had good marks in my 12th Board exams. The university conducts an entrance test known as UGAT/KUAT for the eligible candidates. I cleared the test and was called for a personal interview. The process is long but it went well and I was granted admission.
Faculty
Our faculty members for the journalism course are one of the best in the college. They are professionals and are highly educated with the aspects of media. Some of them have work experience of 10-12 years in the field of journalism. Their teaching methods show their enormous knowledge about the field. Also, they are very kind and supportive to every student.
