Course Curriculum Overview

This 2 year Post-graduate Management course contains core subjects of management which is dealt with in great detail. This course includes subjects such as Finance, Logistics, Human Resource, Marketing etc.

Placement Experience

One can't say much about the position of placements or internships in the college because 2019-20 is it's first batch. But, it would not be wrong to say that this college will hold huge placement opportunities for students in future just like it's other universities.

College Events

Various events and activities are held in the college in which students participate diligently. Most of the events are related to social awareness. Events such as Boond for water conservation and say no to plastic awareness campaign help to promote awareness of social responsibilities. The college also celebrates every festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for this 2 year course is ?6.85 lakh for a year which may seem a lot but it is totally justified with such brilliant infrastructure, magnificent campus and great faculty that the college offers.

Campus Life

The college has got lots of facilities for extracurricular activities. It has Basketball, Throwball and Futsal Court, library, computer lab etc. SIBM also hosts an inter-specialization cricket match which brings out the best in students.

Alumni/Alumna

The ALMAT committee of the college helps students to develop a relation with their alumni. This committee has events such as TED talks , debate competitions, ALUMspeak etc. Alumni are also invited for hosting guest lectures.

Admission

A SNAP (symbiosis national aptitude) test is conducted which is an online test. Shortlisted students then have to appear at a GE-PIWAT process which includes GDPI. Final admission is based on the scores of both the tests.

In my opinion, SIBM is filled with outstanding faculty. They are qualified and have years of teaching experience. They have immense knowledge of their subjects and are ready to help students whenever needed

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. Life at SIBM NAGPUR

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. MY EXPERIENCE AT SIMB NAGPUR

Admission process at my college was very easy and was not weary as admission processes are assumed to be. The Eligibility criteria was as follows: Graduation from any recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and 45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A graduate from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). One has to fill the application form for the course they want to opt for and then register for SNAP, Symbiosis National AptitudeTest. The application fee for SNAP is Rs 1,750 for all programmes. Candidates can pay the application fee online as well as offline. Admission to MBA programme is based on SNAP scores. The candidate must hold a bachelor?s degree in the relevant discipline, to apply for the same.
