Master of Design [M.Des] [Industrial Design]

I have positive remarks of the university as here along with academic life, the campus life was also good. We learned with a practical approach and also understood the importance o physical activities and took part in those relevant events.

As the course included the design and also the industrial aspect, we had syllabus from the combined perspective and I usually preferred reference books for better understanding. Also, we gave several continuous evaluation tests, exhibitions, and submission along with the final semester exams.

As I chose a general course, especially our batch was able to attend interviews from MRF, Airtel, HDFC, AXIS Bank, future group, HCL Technologies, Asian Paints, Vodafone, and Samsung. Also, the salary package to the students who cracked the interview and aptitude test was decent.

I felt the fee structure slightly above the normal one as the fee for this two-year master's degree was 8 lakhs which can be paid in parts also. However, some students felt it expensive but mostly others considered it reasonable to pay.

We had sports at the playground, library, auditorium, seminar hall, and a much good computer lab at Karnavati University. The extracurricular activity was much good at the university as the students were much active and they were from the same caste as of the same state. I generally spent most of my free time at the library and computer lab.

As the intention to motivate students, the university arranged alumni meet for the candidate who was still pursuing their relevant degree. On the other hand, seniors had a frank nature and also helped me in academics.

The admission was based on the Design Aptitude test and the scores of Bachelor of design from the relevant stream were also seen. Moreover, I gave my portfolio and a draft of 2000 along with the complete application with documents, photographs, and thumb impressions.

Along with my sole opinion, the feedback of every student in my batch was positive as every few months the university asked us to fill out the form regarding the faculties. As our faculty were much qualified and had experience on-field they were the right ones to take our lectures and impart us with the curriculum.
