Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very well structured along with the projects in the 3rd and 4th semesters which consisted of the major credits. The teachings were more case based approach (70%) which made me learn things more practically as a manager should be trained.
Placement Experience
Training to be a strategic manager was not easy but it helped me grab one of the best position at the time of my placement. Leading Companies like Accenture , Aditya Birla group,CRISIL , Capgemini India, GAIL etc provide the recruitment in SIBM.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for this course was expensive and wasn't easily feasible for me. The academic fee I paid for my course was ?12,50,000 per annum. Along with that an institute deposit of ?20,000 was taken at the time of admission but it was refundable.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the fees of my course wasn't feasible for me, I took the loan facility of the college from axis Bank which made it bit easier for me to handle the expenses. Loan facility from other banks such as BOB, Canara bank , indian bank, etc are also available.
Campus Life
I liked the involvement and encouragement for the activities apart from studies in SIBM as they support and appreciate every talent. I was into sports as there were very good facilities for that including the cricket and football ground, the swimming pool, pool table,etc which engaged our mind and made the campus life happening.
Hostel Facilities
As I wasn't from Maharashtra, I took the hostel facility. I was in a twin sharing accomodation which was again alot to pay for.But as it had adequate storage and very good facilities, it was satisfactory to spend for such a self grooming course.
Admission
I worked for four years but never got the chance to hold the leadership in my work and then I took admission in SIBM which finally made it possible for me. I opted for this course because I wanted to explore the global management practices and to learn the sustainable strategies to leadership.
Faculty
The faculty was quite good.They were really supportive and made us learn every aspect through case studies which I personally think has helped me alot being a successful manager now in a reputed company.
