Memorable Mosoon

According to my view, My college is good in providing delicious food, maintaining disciplines, providing good environment,conducting competitions,symposiums and placement activities.To describe the good remarks about my college,this space is not enough.On the contrary, the bad review about my management is tolerance with regards to gender. Anyways, the discipline which they are maintaining is because of cultured Tamilnadu. Its not college's fault. On the whole, I enjoyed a lot in my college days, I wish I could experience my past days. Proud to be a "Josephite".

To be frank, I opt for this particular college only because of delicious food and for this branch. Actually my branch (instrumentation and control) is present over few colleges including my college in Tamilnadu, India. The food in my college was awesome. To say about discipline, it ranks in the top five. Major fact to select this college is for on-campus placements.

Instrumentation is defined as the art and science of measurement and control of process variables within a production or manufacturing area. The process variables used in industries are Level, Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Flow, pH, Force, Speed etc. The electives are power plant instrumentation,thermodynamics,data structure and algorithms, applied soft computing, professional ethics, object oriented concepts in c++, operating systems, robotics

Our college will provide internship experience according to their departments. I got internship in yokogawa and IBM. They will not provide stipend for undergraduate. May be they will provide stipends for postgraduate students.

Out of 1000, 930 people were got placed in multinational companies. Others started pursuing higher studies in India as well as abroad The package is from 2.75-11 lakhs per annum. Our major recruiters are Cognizant, WIPRO, and Infosys. Other recruiters are accenture, ashok leyland, zoho, technip, renault nissan, global edge, johnson controls, soliton, verizon, Tech mahendra, yokogawa, emerson etc.

Our college will conduct technical symposiums as well as non technical symposiums. They were really big and full of fun. Many students from other colleges will participate and this is one of the event that we can interact with other students from different colleges. The cultural festival will be of three days. It gives a platform to all talented persons.We enjoyed a lot. The cultural festival will be filled with fun.

The fee structure is feasible. They will not collect extra money from us other than fees. The fee structure including food, transport, accomodation, books, materials,teaching is altogether feasible. Its moderate as my college is affiliated to Anna university.

They are providing scholarships for the students who scored above 8.3 CGPA. The scholarships they provide is like courses from multinational companies. They will give trainings in that particular course.They also provide cash awards for the meritorious students to encourage them. They are giving additional scholarships for scheduled castes.

As my college is located in Tamilnadu,southern part of India, discipline will be maintained according to this region. So, tolerance with regards to gender is somewhat lesser when compare to other colleges.Saying about extracurricular, st.joseph's college of engineering is famous for sports. They will conduct technical workshops often. They will conduct placement orientation programmes, competitions, culturals, technical symposiums, non technical symposiums,sports-day once in a year. On the whole, campus life is such a fabulous life where I enjoyed and learnt a lot.

My rating to mess food is cent percent. They provide delicious food to all students even to the day scholars. They are providing food with standards and good service. Many students are attracted by st.joseph's only because of delicious food yummy. They cater to our taste.Hostels are located inside our college campus. Hostel facilitates geyser, theatres, newspapers, internet. Every room in my hostel is shared by four persons. The rents are as per the Anna university standards.

Our college seniors will come often to our college to meet our professors and their juniors. They will interact with us describing about scope and opportunities offered for our departments. It was a jolly time because our lecturers will not teach when our seniors sharing their experience.

Yess! The exams and labs were very frequent leaving us with a hectic day. In our college days, we should take three model exams, three unit tests, in addition with placement tests on weekends. But on the other side, it is very essential. today's world is busy world. The students who graduated from st.joseph's college of engineering can work under pressure as we have already trained. Thank you st.joseph's!.

Our college faculties and their standards are really good. Their lecture notes and teaching style is awesome and incredible.A big salute to our professors. They will conduct seminars, paper presentations on the weekends. They will upload the notes in the portal regularly. They will not waste a single minute during teaching hours.Their explanations on technical topics were crystal clear.
