It is a 4 years duration course. This course consists of total 8 semesters . We have many subjects in this course. There are overall 30 seats for this course in this university. This course is surely a full time course.

There are many options for the placements and internship programmes. The companies which visits our university for the recruitment of the students are AMAZON, INFOSYS, TCS, TOYOTA, etc . Our university has a very good future for us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for this university is well good. It is about INR 185.812 per year. Compared to other universities the fee structure is not so costly. One can easily pursue any course from this university.

Campus Life

There are various number os events which are celebrated in the university. Sports day, independence day, teachers day and also many events are celebrated. All the events are so wel organised. There is library facility also in our university.

Alumni/Alumna

Our university makes the alumni students visit the university so that they can motivate us with all the experiences they had. The senior students are also very encouraging to us and do not allow any kind of ragging.

Admission

The admission in the university is based on the entrance exam known as KCET. The exam is conducted by the government of Karnataka. The eligibility criteria for this course is to have a 10+2 class degree.

The faculty is awesome here. The teaching quality of the professor is pretty good. They interact with the students in a very diverse. They are always free to answer our queries. They are very much experienced too.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
