Remarks
Studying in this college was definitely a good decision.At first, the students would feel difficulty in adjusting, especially language problems. Tamil is widely spoken by everyone here. Once they learn the basics and start communicating with patients, they get a hang of everything here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is based on that outlined by the Medical Council of India. There is much research done here at the UG level research program. Students learn a lot in this course like practical and theory and getting a lot of exposure as well.
Placement Experience
There is a one-year compulsory internship after the final year which is provided by the college itself. Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences provides a good stipend for a medical intern of Rs. 8,000 per month. You gain a lot of experience in this type of internship.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Academic fees and tuition fees included costs you around ?13.88 Lakhs per year. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for every MBBS student here. To make it is feasible and not a burden, they also provide you with lots of scholarships based on your merit
Campus Life
The male: female ratio is around 1: 2 and is the same for all years as well. We have students from different parts of the country. There is absolutely no sign f discrimination here. We also have fest and events organized on based on curriculum as well as on noncurricular aspects
Admission
I took the NEET UG entrance exam and after qualifying it I knew that this college is which I can definitely get on the basis of my score and also this college is close to my home.You also need to clear your 10+2 examination with at least 50%
Faculty
The faculty here is highly qualified. With many of them being pass outs from AIIMS, and other top medical colleges. Clinical departments have postgraduate students as well as it has even more number of faculty. They also help the student with their research.
