Vipin's Review On Delhi Institute Of Tool Engineering - [DITE], New Delhi

IPU exam. This is my favourite stream as it is a sub branch of mechanical engineering that is why i chose this branch of Engineering.

The course duration was four years. First year had common subjects and in the later years subjects were related to mould and press tool design which are very interesting to study.

Very good companies came for internship such as maruti suzuki, Magnetti marelli,etc. and we were able to learn many things in a practical manner. The college campus itself provided training programs.

Placements were almost 100 percent. Companies like Maruti suzuki, Magnetti marelli, Munjal auto, Bharat gears, etc. Came to the college for placements and salary offered was from 25000 to 40000 per month.

College conducts freshers party for new batch students, technical fests for second and third year students, and also inter university fests where students from all colleges participate.

It is a government college so fees was marginal and feasible and anyone can easily afford it.The fees was 40000 per year and 5000 for first year security.

Scholarships were available for meritorious students and fees concessions were available for reserved category students.

Campus life on a scale of 10 would be 7. Since no hostels were available so no hostel parties were there. But extracurricular activities were organised efficiently like tournaments of cricket table tennis football, etc were organised. The labs were provided with all latest equipments to meet with the tooling standards.

Hostel facility was not available in the college but pgs are available in the vicinity around the college for less than rs 10000.

The first batch was started in 2008 so the seniors of those batches were really helpfull and guided the juniors in academic as well as other matters. Seniors also helped in making arrangements for juniors placements.

Exams did not have a very hectic schedule there used to be class tests once in a month and main exam semester wise.

The faculty was really excellent. All teachers were qualified experienced and practical. They used innovative teaching techniques like projector system,Computers,etc.
