PGCM from Indian School of Business Management and Administration

The university is very helpful and I am glad that it takes initiative to extend distance learning to professional courses, and at the affordable fee. My overall experience was positive, and I would recommend this to all the working professionals like me who cannot find time or opportunity to give up their jobs and take a full time course.

The Post Graduate Certificate in Management Course has papers in principles and practice of management, international business, business communication, and organizational behavior. The exam duration is three hours per paper, both at the study center and for the online examination.

The university provides both placements and placement assistance, but of course a distance learning program comes with its own limitations. For regular students, there are mock interviews and workshops and a hundred percent placement assistance.

The fee is around fifty thousand rupees along with books for the entire course, whether you do the regular two year course or the fast track twelve month course. The fee structure is affordable, and low as compared to other universities.

The university has a well-designed and efficient infrastructure including labs, seminar halls, libraries, and sports center. My program offered no insight into the campus life or extracurricular activities.

The admission process is straightforward. You have to fill the application form and then give an online/offline test of 80 marks, the passing marks for the test is 40. You have to pass the test and qualify the merit list, and you are selected.

A full time correspondence course has little scope for interaction with the faculty. The books I received were informative, interesting, and relevant, especially considering that I was a complete fresher to some of the papers.
