The college gave me a very good experience and healthy atmosphere to study in. The teachers were very experienced and supportive. They teach to the students to work selflessly and serve the society with all vigour.
Course Curriculum Overview
MDS is a 3 years post-graduation course after BDS that deals with the study of development, anatomy, and diseases of the teeth. It was very good learning experience. The program helps in the development of critical analysis, research skills, and advanced clinical skills of the student in the field of dentistry.
Placement Experience
MDS degree helps the the students to get higher posts such as directors in hospitals or colleges. They can apply to Private and Government Dental Hospitals, Clinics, Dental Healthcare Facilities, Dental Research Centres etc. as Dentist, Oral / Maxillofacial Surgeon, Research Scientist, etc.
College Events
Cultural nights were organized by the college committees which included bhangra nights, DJ nights, Diwali party, Holi celebrations, Christmas week, etc. for the leisure of the students and some fun time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is very pocket friendly as the college is a government college. The fee per year for the MDS course is ?8,463 which is extremely low and very affordable for all students.
Campus Life
All events are very well managed, including sports events. It is very well organized and managed by the concerned staff. The college has committees that organize the annual fest, the medical camps, etc for the students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities by the college were very good and everything was looked after by the management in a diligent manner. The students did not have much to complain about as the hostel management always looked after everything.
Admission
To get into the MDS course in our college, I had to give the entrance examination of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The eligibility criteria to apply for the course is that the candidate has to pass in B.D.S. with at least 50% + PGIMER entrance exam.
Faculty
The faculty consists of all experts in the dentistry field who help create a healthy environment for the students during classroom and lab learning. The faculty provides full support and guidance to all the students for their better future.
