A college which promote research

The course is very well constructed with motivating the students to develop interest in research work. The course is designed well with the point of view that it covers the overall topics of the field biotechnology. The topics are studied in brief note in separate specialization of microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, etc. The exam structure is that they are conducted two times of the year.

The placement opportunities for my department is highly unstable, but our batch students also sit our non-core companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infotech, etc. Our department provides us to go lots of internships in different research organisations and core companies to gain industrial exposure, technical handling and large scale production units.

The fee structure of my department is a little bit expensive. I need to pay around 48,000 INR along with other miscellaneous fees. But the college provides you with highly satisfactory course where you cannot complain.

The college events such as festivals celebrations, workshops, seminars, national level conferences, freshers party, convocation and others are celebrated with such a good decorum. The college has lots of clubs and also a playground. Students can play either indoor or outdoor games.

Yes, I did opt for the hostel facilities on campus. The infrastructure is really good and the facilities like water, electricity, cots, playground, washing area, are all good . The main drawback is the rentals, which might be a bit expensive for students.

The alumni association of the students are good. They are all kept in contact, and at times requested to share their life lessons and their insights. The students never hesitate to clarify all the queries and can be easily approached. Similarly the senior students are the students who help us with notes, tips and tricks during exams.

Admission procedures involves the submission of your application form with all the necessary details filled out properly. The admission is provided to the students on the basis of their merit. They require a minimum aggregate of 45% in your senior secondary school examinations.

The faculties of the college are highly talented. The professors are the great influencers, who inspire us to take up higher studies. They motivate to undergo so many internships and clarify all our doubts.
