GUJCET, My ambition to be a Mechanical engineer made me to take admission there. The reason for taking admission was also that i thought the quality would be good instead of SFI. And the second reason was my economical condition.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was good enough to learn but faculty was not giving any complicated or knowledge that should be given to us. So we have to prepare all our syllabus and practicals by own self. Most of faculty wasn' t giving their lectures at the time period. They came as the lectures are free and when they are prepared to give lecture . So many of our classes were remain blank and we have to work hard to learn our topic by our selves.
Internships Opportunities
Not so good .The setting system was working there at our time. Some of our faculty was like currept and they were not infoming students @ campus. Surya and Adani campus was came there but we got the information very late.
Placement Experience
Approximatly 20-25 are placed out of our 130 students. Adani,surya and LNT companies were came there but they were asking for bonds of 2-3 year and packages was @ 2.4lac/annum.adani was offering 3.4lac. Surya was offering bond of 2 year with packages of 2lac. Lnt package was 2.4lac/annum with 6 month banglore traning and no bond was on Lnt.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hostels are availble on paying fees 2000 per 6 months and if there were quantities of students are more than the students are selected based on the first come first get or merit based. Hostel room were shared by 3 to 5 students per room.
Fees and Financial Aid
Minority scholarship were available but clerk were currupt so the who pays them or whom they know , their scholarship form were passed first and most of them get.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was approx 160 girls on 750 boys. For the first year students Freshers parties and for last year students parties were arranged. Labs was well developed and almost all the equipment were available there. Politics was only happening when there is some competion in any field.
