NEFTU is a big deal to obtain admission in as it provides a lot of opportunities in terms of placement and internships that students can explore and participate to form a strong resume. The academic schedule is exhaustive yet, very effective and efficient.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus for my course was complex and hard. The students had to do a complete, thorough detailed study throughout each semester. Although, I enjoyed researching about many of the concepts but, there were some in which I struggled.
Placement Experience
The internship opportunities are immense, I was able to get two internships in one semester and I was grateful to have worked with such well established companies as it enhanced my resume. Even the placement of the students in their final year is very smooth and promising for the candidate. Almost all of the students find a placement after college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee per annum for arts stream is approximately Rs. 18,000/-. Thereafter would come the additional expense of hostel and mess. I needed neither of them so, I took stress of only admission fee and tuition.
Campus Life
There were not many extra curricular activities to enroll in. I remember the university giving a lot of priority to sports. But, no other performing arts was given much recognition in the university.
Admission
I had attained 87% in my 10+2. Though I was thrilled about the percentage I achieved, I was still anxious about my college admissions. But, it came to my notice that NEFTU was solely on merit and did not have any entrance nor interview for my course. it was indeed, a relief.
Faculty
The professors are able to help you when you approach them personally otherwise, you are on your own to do all the assignments, projects, presentations that are dicussed in the class. The rubics for the assignments is also told to the students, criterias on which their work would be scored.
