Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 2 years. The course structure has theories, practicals and research included. All the subjects are so interesting here. It is mandatory to attend all the classes without fail. The research work is done under the guidance of a senior faculty and the results are to be submitted as thesis.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are pretty good in our college. The placement record of the college is around 80% and improving. The pay offered is also pretty good. There is also a great option to work in their own hospital and they even pay you really good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Honestly, the fee fee here seems quite expensive. Though the education and the facilities are really good, not everyone is be able to afford such high costs. For the M.S course, the yearly tuition fee is around 1o lakhs which seems very high.
Fees and Financial Aid
As far as I have heard about the college, it does not provide any scholarship options. The fee itself is very high that sometimes even banks refuse to provide student loans. Families with poor economical background cannot afford such highly priced education.
Campus Life
The labs here are good. There is enough equipment but some of it needs replacement. Some of labs also need little renovations. Coming to sports, the college is very active and supportive. All the students are given equal opportunities and encouraged without any bias or discrimination.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is really good. The rooms are very spacious and enough rooms are provided. Each room has a separate toilet. The washrooms and the rooms are maintained very clean. The food provided in the mess is okay and can be improved.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors of our college are really really good. They help us in any situation. They guide us during our exams. They are more like our friends now. And the alumni of our college are working in great positions now. Some of them are even doctors in the college's own hospital.
Admission
The admission procedure is very simple. After graduating from the M.B.B.S, I applied for various colleges to pursue M.S. Then based on my scores obtained in my qualifying exam, to my surprise, I was shortlisted for admission in GCS Medical College. The required fee was paid and I confirmed my admission.
Faculty
The faculty is highly educated and qualified. The teaching methods are very unique here and all the topics are thoroughly explained in classes itself. All the faculty members are so friendly and they maintain a very close relationship with the students.
