The college is good in all terms, be it placement opportunities or good education. It is a very good institution for our career. it has a very good infrastructure as well. I feel really proud to be a part of this institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the college is very well design. It includes both theoretical as well as practical sessions . labs were in essential in my course since I was doing Masters in chemistry. There were four semesters and exams were also conducted on regular interval basis.
Placement Experience
The JSS Science and Technology University is one of the oldest universities in the state of Karnataka. It ranks on number 2 for placements. many top companies visit the campus every year and almost students of every department of the college get placed in some of the other company every year.
College Events
The college conducts many management and Technical fests every year. other than this we have annual day and college day as two most important events of the college which is celebrated on a very large scale basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of my course for two years program is 4.8 lacs. The first year fees of the college is approximately 2.4 lacs which includes 65,000 rupees as tuition fees and 37,000 rupees as other miscellaneous expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided to the students by the government of Karnataka. the college also provide scholarship to scholars students who usually are the toppers of the class. loan facilities are also available and any student who wishes to study on loan can get it sanctioned through any bank on very low interest rates.
Campus Life
There are a lot of socities and committees made by the students in the College. Any student who has interest in any of them, are always welcomed. Apart from this, we also have projects or science exhibition every year by the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities of the college are really very appreciable full stop there are two different buildings for boys and girls. The boys hostel fees for one year is 74,500 and that of girls hostel is 73,800. The mess provides good food and all the other basic necessities are provided by the hostel.
Admission
I had completed my BSC honours in chemistry from this University itself and decided to continue with my Masters from here only. the admission process was completely based on the marks obtained in the bachelor's degree followed by a short interview session. this is how I got admission in the college
Faculty
The faculty in our college are highly educated and have years in years of experience in the teaching field. they are in the college since a very long time and all of them are PhD scholars. They are well aware of a student's mind psychology and they know how to deal with it.
