Remarks

College's over all rating is between sub-par to par. KMIT college is much and much better in terms of everything from scope of learning to faculty, facilities and placements, than this college. And weirdly the rank you need to join in KMIT is also lower than that you require for JBIT.

Entrance Preview

EAMCET is the entrance test to get a seat in this college. A rank around 10000 will suffice well to get seat in EEE branch. For ECE, CSE 8000 will do for an General Category student. The campus is sub-par. The infrastructure is too old and no proper maintenance except from the front view. The quality of education is between sub-par and average. Besides 1 or 2 senior faculty, all others are either M.Tech passouts who have less and no knowledge about the subject that they teach. Few do not even teach anything. The library has moderate number of books, though many of those are older versions.Fests and Annual Day events do occur every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The college is autonomous but follows almost same curriculum as that of JNT University.

Internships Opportunities

Do not expect any internships or stipends in this college. These are out of even thought. The exposure to these things is completely zero.Only placements!

Placement Experience

1

Placements are sub-par. Not many companies come for recruitment. Infosys was the major selector, besides few other small (rather very small or startups) who intake a single digit students.Mostly you will need to attend pool campus placements conducted at different colleges. Also, there is no 100% placement guarantee. On average around 10 to 12% of students get placed.

College Events

1

College Fests and Annual days are the only events conducted. The level of these are sub-par due to improper infrastructure, improper faculty and facilities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is expensive compared to the faculty and facilities that you get in this college. But to everyone's surprise, this college stands among top 10 colleges in Hydeabad City.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sorry, do not expect any scholarships or loan facilities.

Campus Life

1

Not much extra curricular activities unless you are proactive and keep yourself engaged by participating such events conducted in other colleges. You should keep a track of those always.Sports is at par. Events do occur sometimes. There is a good ground for football, which is also used for cricket. Indoor game facilitates Chess, Carroms, T.T.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel facilities are very poor and same is with food.Heard many ragging cases and other nuisance cases in hostels. Many students do not prefer to stay in hostel. One can easily get accommodation nearby the college.

Alumni/Alumna

A big No! No famous alumni or senior students from this college.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as that of JNT university though the college is autonomous. 2 semesters every year. 2 Internal examinations before a final exam in every semester. 4th year has only 1 semester altogether.

Faculty

1

The quality of education is between sub-par and average. Besides 1 or 2 senior faculty, all others are either M.Tech passouts who have less and no knowledge about the subject that they teach. Few do not even teach anything.
