my experience with jbiet

I took EAMCET and scored around 17000 rank in that. I got alloted in this college as i dont have any reservations. I am an o.c candidate. the admission process is very simple in this college. One can go through it very easily. The management there is not that very helpful but not all. some are good helping the students who want to get the admission. They take a nominal fees of around 4000 for admission fees nd around 11000 as library fees.the 11000 library fees is not mandatory its based on the student.

As i am a cse student with my knowledge upon it the course is always vast in jbiet. The programming languages they teach here are not even taught by any iit's or nit's. the course curriculum got good focus on research with wide taughts implied in there but one would always suffer with the wide course structure every year. As of course curriculum i give 9/10 ratings.

jbiet never provides any internships it is always upto the individual to try and get into internships through other ways. this is where jbiet get severe beatings as it doesn't care about the future of the student. The management never act like they are concerned with a students behaviour.

Placements now a days in jbiet are not going on as it should have. the only well known company that comes for the drive is infosys, other than that no other company arrives. even infosys took around 30-4- students only. The packages they provide varied. on average the packages provided are around 5-6lakhs per annum.other than infosys all are bpo's that arrives in jbiet.

Coming to events only two events take place in jbiet. one is the technical fest which is called as the info quest and the other one is inxs called the cultural fest. the inxs is a very huge fest which happens every year in the months of march. The info quest is the fest which is technical fest and all the departments show their potential in this fest.the cultural fest of jbiet is well known all over the state.

The fees structure in jbiet is very feasible. the acadeic tuitio fees in jbiet is 51400/- which is very less than some of the colleges in and around the rank of jbiet. the library fees of jbiet is around 11000/- which provides rthe students all the necessary books for the students. the hostel fees is around 4000/- per month, which is also reasonable.the admission fees is around 4000/-.

No loan facility provided by jbiet. but scholarships are available in jbiet as it is provided by the govt. of telangana a scholorship of around 35000/- is provided for bc, sc, candidates. There is a special place called the scholarship room which provides every single information abount scholarships in jbiet.

The campus is vast in jbiet in and around 110 acres. It is though not neatly maintained. only extracuricular activity present is sports. People take a good part at sports in jbiet. they are always interested in sports no such tolerance on gender like that are present in jbiet. jbiet is good at that. A special batch always take care of students which composes of faculty in jbiet.

The hostels in jbiet are not that neatly maintained. but the rooms in the hostels are wide they are sharing rooms. Two people share a room in jbiet hostels. The payment is around 4k per each person most of the complaints in jbiet are about the mess food. It is not at all good to eat they provide some tasteless food. The mess charges are included in the hostel fees there is no seperate fees for mess charges. But the people in hostel are leaving the hostel and going for private hostel because of the mess food

The alumni network present in jbiet is very poor. They are not at all helpful first of all we dont actually know where they are. The college should take some actions in order to get with the alumni network.

Exam structure in jbiet is always hectic even the assignment marks (5m) which should be actually given for writing an assignment are given by conducting a test. So if one decides to join jbiet they should be always ready for exams jbiet is one of those colleges where the semester exams are completed almost first in the state, but when it comes to results they come long after two months like that.

Here comes the faculty which plays an important role in jbiet. We can say that faculty here is two types. one who knows everything and another who knows nothing. The first type are making this college run. The standards of the faculty is not that good in jbiet. The faculty keeps on changing which is never a good sign as of faculty i give around 4/10 ratings.
