this college has helped me develop a wholesome and balanced personality, one where academic competence is supplemented with good character. The environment here is similar to the ancient Indian Gurukula system of education. most of the daily chores are done by the students even maintenance of the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
The program is a scientific study of the health and chemical aspects of food. we study the understanding of the role of diet and nutrition in health and the prevention of major diseases. The program is designed to provide an understanding of both the biological and social science perspectives. we receive basic theoretical and practical training in three major areas?Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics & Food Science and Quality Control. this is a very interesting course.
Placement Experience
Placements and internships are not proffered by the college but our seniors help us to get a placement and jobs.most of my senior works in good MNCs and companies. you can apply for the job on your own after passing out from the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The education here is absolutely free of expense. we only pay for the hostel and mess fees. You need not pay even a rupee for your education. You only need to pay for the hostel and mess. this is a good thing about this college. this a charitable or you can say trust the generate their own funds but provide free education to students.
Campus Life
we spend 40% of our time on activities related to the Integral education dimensions of Devotional, Cultural, Physical, and Service. we have devotional activities like Bhajans (Sankirtan), Vedic chants and stotrams , Meditation & Silent sitting Suprabhatam (prayer at dawn) Assembly (college prayer) Brahmarpanam (food prayer) Kshama Prarthana (night prayer). cultural activities involved celebrating festivals, Annual Sports & Cultural Meet.
Admission
this course is For Women Candidates only, they have separate courses for male and female students. if you have subject combinations in XII Standard of Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry or Botany/Zoology/Chemistry then youare eligible to apply.
