St Anthonys college is one of the most prestigious college in Northeast India and the first ever salessian college worldwide,I chose st Anthony's because it offers quality education to students with affordable fees and healthy study environment. Being located in Shillong,it is very convenient for me as I'm from the neighbouring state i.e, Nagaland,and I don't have to go far to pursue my degree but rather stay within northeast and get my degree with affordable fees and with great experience
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose statistics because I'm very keen on learning more about numbers and moreover statistics is a very fun subject. Statistics department in my college is managed by four professionally highly educated professors including the head of the department. They use very smart techniques in teaching the topics and as well they're very hard working .
Placement Experience
From 4th sem students are eligible for campus placements,my plan after getting the degree is to continue for masters
Fees and Financial Aid
College admissions and fees mounds upto approximately 70 to 80 thousand per annum,and for students like me who resides in main hostel ,it costs me around 1.5 lakhs per annum for both hostel and college expenditure, currently I have not applied any scholarships or not under any financial assistance
Campus Life
We have the college week every year at around last week of February to first week of march ,during this time students get a chance to showcase their talents and artworks and many more.
Hostel Facilities
Great environment for studies, student friendly, meals are great ,two meals a day , registration process was quite easy
