Entrance Preview
I took GCET. I always dreamt of entering into corporate so chose IT as IT has the biggest corporate sector. It's always helpful for getting into your favorite company with help from alumni association.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good. Helpful enough to survive into today's changing it industry but still it needs to be updated from practical exams point of view. Students are not getting enough knowledge in practicals compare to theoretical knowledge. Practical knowledge is very important in it industry.
Internships Opportunities
It was a government college so there were no fees. As such there was no stipend provided. My college internship experience is of one year. In the seventh and eighth semester.
Placement Experience
Number of opportunities for every stream students. Almost 80% students from IT and CE were placed from my batch and all of them were placed in a good companies.
College Events
Technical events,cultural events, celebrating teachers day and other days in college. Inter college competitions and sports activities were also held. Studnets from all colleges were participating in events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
No tuition fees for girl students in govt colleges. Only curriculum fees worth rs 1200 were there per year.it was very negligible amount of laboratory fees and other expenses.
Hostel Facilities
Good. I actually did not stay at college hostel but heard from friends that it was good. Mess facility was very good. Hygenic and good food was being served.
Exam Structure
Gtu has its own exam structure. It was not hectic because in all exam at least one holiday was given before each exam. Labs an d practical exam were hd after written exams of Gtu used to get completed.
Faculty
Very helpful and full of knowledge. Due to the guidance of them only students of my batch got placed at good companies. It's like college is known only due to its quality of knowledge that they are sharing through the faculties.
