One of the main factors is the placements. You can get a lot of placement opportunities if you work hard and are able to maintain a decent profile in academics. Secondly, the college is located in the prime sector of Noida - Sector 62 which is also known as the IT hub of Noida as it has a lot of IT companies. So, the exposure is really good as well.

The curriculum in CSE and IT sector is pretty much in touch with the latest technologies in the market but the same cannot be said for the ECE course as the syllabus is pretty out of date - at least that's what I felt personally being an ECE student. Industrial exposure is also pretty limited and the only real industrial exposure that you can obtain is through internships which you have to secure yourself. The faculty to be honest is a mixed bag - some are pretty friendly and will help you out in every aspect be it college life or academics whereas some on the other hand are pretty orthodox and you get more of a strict school teacher kind of vibe from them.

Placement is good as long as you work hard and maintain a decent academic profile. Personally, I'd say that CSE and IT sectors have much much more opportunities as compared to ECE branch. A lot of big companies like Morgan Stanley (for girls), Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, Luceidius, Adobe(for girls) etc visit the campus for placements. Amazon SDE offers package upto 28lakhs and Adobe offers a package upto 42 lakhs but only for girl students.

There are a lot of extra curricular hubs like Music, Dance, Arts, Environmental, Debate, Acting, Fashion etc. You can enroll in any hub of your choice and then if you're suitable for it, you can take part in events organised by the college and also even represent your college in various events of other colleges. The main event organised by JIIT is Impressions - the annual fest organised in the last weekend of February which comprises of various events wherein you can win various prizes and vouchers and edm night at the end which has emd artists and other bands and musicians. Other than that, technical events for each stream are also organised every year with prizes and recognition awards and also Dandiya night is celebrated in the month of October.

The campus size is very limited - 15.5 acres as far as I know, but one factor in which it steamrolls many other colleges is the maintenance. The maintenance is top notch and the entire campus is cleaned both in the morning and evening be it the classrooms or the college campus. All the hostels have Wi-Fi which you will be able to login via the login id and password provided to you by the authorities at the time of registration. The library is pretty decent in size and comprises of 2 floors and has lots of computers as well to help you with your course studies but the sad fact is that it is closed by 5pm except on exam days. There is also a cafeteria above the library if you wanna grab some snacks.
