Remarks

I have graduated in agriculture stream from this university and after that i want to study higher.thats why i preferred to take admission in CCS HAU. It is located in my city and the ICAR rank of this university is 4.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing msc program in forestry in this university. It is one of the biggest university in asia. Having enough area for reseach purpose. Faculty also is very good. Student gets high chance to get admission in foreign countries.

Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is there for every batch. Interested students got placed in their desired industry. In banking sector there is plenty of jobs. Seniors students give preference to the students. Till now there is no any notable alumini whom I can refer.

College Events

As i said earlier it scored 2 rank under ICAR ranking. Campus is in very large area having much greenary and landscaping is fascinating. Giri center has synthetic track which avail every sports for the students. As well as youth fest are organized every year along with other occasional function. Krishi mela is also organized twice in the year in each crop season for the farmers.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
