It was near my hostel. Plus, it was in my comfort zone. I like to travel lesser. Choosing this college was up to mark. Now I am going to take admission in other college but same conditions will be applied.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everything is good as we expect from a govt college. The only thing I was unsatisfied with was the laboratory. Being a physics student, lab work is extremely important. This era demands you to be both theoritically and practically proficient. A poor working lab equipments and unaware staffs is a big impediment in the path of success. I tried to cover it through online materials.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. I love Internship. I work as a content writer and social media manager for different start-ups. Initially these were part of my Internships but later my performance helped them to grow and i was gifted a long term job.
Placement Experience
Look, a BSc program from a govt doesn't necessarily give you a placement after degree completion like you get after having an MBA degree. Yes, choosing for higher education will be a better option. There are few companies like concentrix, Tata companies etc came for placement but the jobs were focussed to please vocational students most of the times.
College Events
We had a big seminar halls on the ground floor of our college. And the auditorium, chairs, Mike system-all looked fancy. Afterall, this was the place which was convered by media most of the times, college is bound to work on it to make it look hell lot prettier than other parts. Teachers and Seniors were super cooperative when it was about extracurricular activities. I can't deny it.
Campus Life
It was so-so. Somewhere between good and best. The most appreciated part was the cleaning. Our college has proper a regular cleaning which made me feel like home. Library and other important areas has CCTV fitted into wall which make it look like a secure one. The ground was large.
Hostel Facilities
Yeah, I opted for hostels at first. My colllehe is surrounded by hostels of all budgets. You can have cook or non-cook option in your rooms, single/double/triple sitters as per your convenience. Basic amenities were good. But if you have a habit of eating delicious food, hostel won't be a good option for you.
