Infrastructure was the primary reason which impressed me in first glance.then I met the faculty of ABS and found them really helpful even though then I had not taken admission they did guide me and helped me with all my queries.
Course Curriculum Overview
Amity is good for MBA but like most of the MBA colleges.affiliated to MAT.its not AICTE recognised. when applying to a govt. sector.a recognised degree/diploma is considered only. They have got it UGC recognised recently bacause its AICTE affiliation was cancelled many times n finally blocked. Placements are fine,will get u placed if u work hard n have good communication skills n knowledge. Nearly 90% of the colleges in MAT are not AICTE recognised and are providing 2 yrs full time PGDBM which is autonomous not recognised from anywhere.in some case only UGC recognised
Placement Experience
Amity University runs several MBA courses, Amity Business School provides MBA in core subjects - Marketing, HR, Finance etc. This course can get you placement but the package is less (3 L-8 L), whereas other MBA courses such as Hospitality mgnt, Media Mgnt, students are suffering! Companies hardly visit,and those which do are extremely mediocre who offer packages like 2.4 L-3L, so if you wNt to pursue MBA from Amity, choose MBA in Marketing or Finance (Amity Business School)
College Events
So far my experience with Amity University is pretty good and somehow satisfied with their education standards. You get a lot of exposure to different kinds of people across the country and also with the international students. There will be lot of extra curricular activities available to take part in them, especially to the freshers. There is an inter - Amity sports event called SANGATAN, which includes various sports and activities among the departments and the winners get awarded on the final day of the event. There is a wonderful, well maintained, spacious library with thousands of books and internet facility spread over 3 floors.
