Its very reputed college as well as leading government college in Madhya Pradesh. Even I heard a good word of mouth about it. Many Adorable alumnae were passed out from this institute. So I choose this college. Specially for Civil Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is not updated yet adapted practical aspects of learning. We went for Rural Outreach, industrial exposure on construction sites to understand the importance of subject. Our faculties are good but Prof. K.K. Punjabi sir is best teacher of structural engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Yes I interned at Indian Railway station development corporation at Habibganj railway station as a site engineer intern. I also worked in PWD Sagar as a site engineer intern at Collectorate office building and smart city centre. Both internship are unpaid.
Placement Experience
Every year many companies like TCS, INFOSYS,WIPRO, PRISM JOHNSSON, BYJU'S, LIDO, ZARO, CALVIN KLEIN, FILTRA SOLUTIONS, COGNIZANT, CAPEGEMINI, Bina Oman Refinery Limited etc. Comes every year for close campus drive in college. May alumnus of our college are as follows:1. Kailash Saryarthi( Nobel laureate)2. S.S. Amritphale ( scientist )3. Dr. P.B. Sharma ( scientist, Padma Bhushan awardee)4. Pratapbhanu Sharma ( Ex MP).Our Training placement cell is quite active for placements of students. We also have Entrepreneurship Cell named E- Cell in our college which have prominent alumnae association.
College Events
There is a annual techfest SATYARTH-I held every year in which student from all over india came to participate. Its central India's biggest techfest. Annual cultural fest Samrat Utsav and state level cricket tournament happens in which other institutes of MP participate. We organise EDM night every year in which international artists also came to perform. Crowd of around 5k-8k people attend it every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our institute informs each students in needs about scholarship given by central and state government for OBC, SC, ST students about reservational scholarship. Some minority students also get minority scholarship. We have SBI branch in our college premises. So needy students can easily get education loans from them.
Campus Life
Our college is NBA accredited. We have indoor and outdoor sports areas, full WiFi campus, with fully digital e-Library and best practical labs in M.P. Specially Fluid Mechanics lab is unbeatable among other institutions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good and newly furnished with sharing with 2 students. Around 200 students get hostel facility rest will get outside hostel or PG's. Hostels are good including mess and sports facilities. Charges for PG's are 2000/- month.
