Remarks

There was a callous desire to study computer science at a reputed institute, and Manipal offers one of the top IT programs in the country and is adjacent to Technology hubs like Bangalore and Hyderabad. Since I belong from a North Indian family, I wanted to experience South Indian culture, hence I chose MIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is specifically designed to cater the needs of the students in an industry where technology is ever changing and the faculty understands that very well. They prepare us to counter real world problems with the unique structure of our courses and help us in our projects. The academics are thought to be menial but they uplift our thinking abilities

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience

The job opportunities are great because of the college being close to Tech Hubs of the country i.e Bangalore and Hyderabad. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is a graduate of our college.

College Events

The campus life is the one I always dreamt of. It's a tectonic shift from my school life and has enabled me to make friends from different cultures and interacting with seniors and teachers. The exposure that I've got and the experiences that I have of the college are the ones that I never want to let go of.

Campus Life

The campus infra. is one of the best in class. The libraries ARE where students can study in peace with any book they desire even beyond their curriculum. SPorts facilities are the one that attracted me to the university with gyms and lush green cricket grounds to play on. The academic block is the utmost priority of the administration and they support us with leading technology and management.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels in Manipal are one of the best in the country. They UNDERSTAND the difficulties the students might face staying away from home and try making it a better experience for the students. There are solar heaters in the blocks, 24hour electricity and AC's.One of the issues I have faced is due to the lift might go out of order but that's nothing to get panicky about

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students.
