Remarks

SVIT is the very good engineering Institute around Vadodara city. It is the well known institution for engineering student. it provides very good placements in famous multinational as well as domestic companies SVIT is so reputed for its academics. The infrastructure the college provides is fabulous and the campus is very large and beautiful. the Laboratories has latest equipments and the college teaches the best and latest syllabus. college has several Club and it organises different festivals. it also host National level technical fest. The phrase structure is convenient and you don't have to pay legs of rupees to get degree in engineering and there are many hostels near the college campus which is a beneficial for the students who are coming from Different cities

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is pretty more focused to theory and not practicals but the college follows the curriculum as prescribed under GTU. The course was last modified 2 years back. Industrial exposure is not required in computer departments and in core branched like mechanical, enough industrial exposure is provided. Industrial trips are organised at free of cost along with the transport facility by the college itself. Many faculties are actively motivating the students to take part in various hackathons and they guide them throughout. Especially the first year faculties are very much friendly and supportive.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit our college every year. The students secure the placements before passing out the final year exams. Around 50 companies visit computer department since past few years. TCS takes away most of the students with average salary of 3-3.5 lacs according the the coding skills of the student. Infosys, Larsen&Turbo and Mindtree also visit our college every year. The alumni network is not as strong as other colleges but few alums are in contact

College Events

Library is of 2 floors and is pretty sufficient to accomodate the needs of around 4000 students. Wifi facility is provided but you can connect to it only with PC/Laptops and no smartphones. Additionally, the network strength is very low. Computer labs are very well equipped and have ACs but other labs like mechanical have old equipments. Sports is very much encouraged in our college. Many students are actively indulged into sports. College infastructure is good and spreads over more than 20 acres in the natural beauty of Vasad city.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
