Remarks

Maritime institute with best reputation, infrastructure, quality education in India. Also it has very high placement record over the years compared to other maritime institutes in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university updates the course syllabus very regularly and the same is strictly implemented in the college teaching plan. Also ship visits are conducted and practical exposure of the work and operations on ship is provided to students.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement record for my course is excellent. Many of the world's renowned companies visit our campus for recruiting cadets such as Teekay, Chevron, BW, Stena, Maersk line, Maersk tankers, Wilhelmsen Ship Management, NYK, MOL and many more.

College Events

Campus Life is fun, very exciting and at the same time you learn how to work as a team be it cultural events or hostel fights. And also to support your friends in their up/downs. Every year fest like FRESHERS and HORIZON is held and that time is the time we have blast and enjoy the most as they arrange talented stage shows, put up food stalls, we are granted more leeway to move around which is quite normal in other institute but not in ours. In these fests they even invite special guests. So, overall campus Life is a very well balanced journey.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
