Remarks
I chose this college because it is on of the prestigious college in Jharkhand. I cleared JCECE and got admission here. One reason was also thaf it is near my home town so that i can easily up down from hostel and home. It has less annual fees as compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is updated one year ago. The faculties are well educated as it is a state government organization every thing is under state government. Every branch gets industrial exposure once in their 4 years degree. Academics exam are held at the appointed time that is per semester, two mid semester exams are held per semester. There are different faculties for different subjects. There are workshops under which students can work to gain experience for real life world.
Internships Opportunities
1.Campus ambassador, awign, i applied through awign app and got selected after interview call. Got a stipend of rs 500. 2. Business development intern at tap sales mounting pvt limited. I applied through Internshala got selected after an interview round and got a stipend of rs 600
Placement Experience
Many companies visit the campus, includes TATA CUMMINS, VEDANTA PVT LT,BYJUS, AMMALGAM STEEL, SAMSUNG, ABG, TCS NINJA, TATA POWER, HONDA R &D, UTTAM GALVA. Previous year highest salary package was 15 lacs. College alumni network is very strong once a year an annual alumni meet is held. "Yumedic" is one of startup previous year which got funded by Jharkhand government.
College Events
Campus life is fun, there are various clubs, under clubs various events are held. An annual technical fest and cultural fest is held every year. Where the colleges from outside are also allowed to take part. Many cash prizes as gift vouchers are there. One of the mega event is BITAANSH. Every senior and juniors work together for the events.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, i haven't avail any scholarship. There is an organization ANANT PRAYAAS it provides free laptops to the students who can't afford it, there is proper criteria after fullfilling it only laptops are provided.
Campus Life
As it was established in 1949 the infrastructure is quite poor. Buildings need some polish from outside as well as inside. There is no wifi facility in campus but in branch buildings there is wifi facility. Library is quite big and every student borrow books from there. In library there are not only semester books but also competitive examinations books. In this college we get a huge exposure to sports as every year a mega event SPARDHA is held in which various sports events are held and every student is invited to take part. There are labs but as they are very old some equipments don't work labs are still under construction. Many labs are well developed for example seimens lab and computer labs.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, i have opted for hostel. Hostel room is quite big, i share room with two girls other than me in other room 4 to 5 girls live in one room. There is different hostel for first, second, third and final years. We pay a yearly of 2000 each electricity bill and 5000 hostel maintenance fees each. Ithere than is for mess we give 3000 rs per month. Mess food quality is good. Variety of food is prepared every day and every week the food is repeated.
