Remarks
1) The first reason will be the ROI you are getting from the university, the fees is 8 lakhs and you will end up getting jobs with minimum 6 lakhs ctc upto 12 lakhs.2) CITY- Mumbai is itself a city with lots of opportunities, you get to learn a lot, the corporate life, friendly environment Etc3)The best option if you don?t want to drop and got less scores in entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is same if you are a bms or bba student. You will get to study 90% of the same subjects you did in bba /bms. Rest is practical exposure what you get. The difference is the brand name and the package you are getting in the end. Obviously college like ISB, IIM gives you exposure on another level.

Many marketing do visit in ibs Mumbai, most are for sales and most of the company who visited are from real estates.Though many companies comes to the campus which you will find in top B schools the only difference is you will get a different role and different package here.
College Events
The college cultural activities are decent. It depends on from which college you graduated. I was from Xaviers the activities there and here has a huge difference. I kinda felt depressed though as I had to join this college after being in Xaviers. They do organise but not on larger scale or to be hyped about. For eg other college students like nmims, wellingkar will never participate in college functions of ibs.
