I chose this college because of the best teaching faculty with good experience and teaching skills. The placement cell providing better opportunities to work and organising internship program in between for learning.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the course is well planned with suitable syllabus, but management between academics and co-curriculum is not maintain.Faculties and staffs are good enough for me.Especially the faculty of some subjects like Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical chemistry were best.(B.U.Salve and P.B.Miniyar respectively)
Internships Opportunities
For internship the college offers a letter to company assigning the internship.I worked in Eurolife Healthcare Pvt Ltd. Aurangabad as a Trainee.
Placement Experience
A number of pharmaceutical companies on yearly basis visits the college offering jobs. The placement process is similar to steps of rounds including Aptitude test, Etc. Also the placement cell is good in organising such campus interviews.The college also started the Entrepreneur cell through which they also organised the "Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp" for a week.
College Events
As of the campus life was best.Sinhagad institutes has the biggest cultural night event in the region around.The students do organize various events and activities also celebrating different festivals.
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied for EBC scholarship which helped me to pay half the fees. College also helps in providing other scholarship schemes by government as per castes
Campus Life
As there are total 4 campuses of Sinhgad Institutes in 4 areas around pune like Vadgaon,Lonavala,Kondhwa, Narhe, of which Narhe (my campus) does not have any playground, but have wifi, indoor sports, good library and yes suitable equipment in labs.
Hostel Facilities
I stayed for a year the hostel.Each rooms has 4 bed and used as sharing.It has enough seats and is easy to apply for the hostel rooms by paying the hostel fees.And in a case if seats are full there are many flats available as rentals.
