Remarks

This institute has huge number of patients to see and also has latest machines and technologies which other colleges don't have. It has amazing doctors. This college is best in Maharashtra for medical education

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is updated regularly and recent advances are incorporated. Our teachers teach things that are out of syllabus but are of importance to us. We get surgical exposure early and faculties always guide us

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1 year internship(we get stipend around 11000) is compulsory for medical students besides these 1 year of rural posting is compulsory (70000 stipend)

Placement Experience

We can be self employed or can be employed by any private hospital or government run hospital and are easily paid around 70000

College Events

Both curricular and co curricular events take place in our college. We have 3-4 annual fests which cover whole year. We have a cultural fest "Aavishkaar", academic fest "Confluence" and fest for humanity "aspire" besides these annual sports take place. And we can participate in all of the events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tata scholarship programs gives funds to all student who score above 70% in the university exam. Our college also has shirodkar scholarship exam for first year students. It also has a program for all poor students who are not able to buy books, they are given books free of cost.

Campus Life

Our campus is declared as international heritage site as it was built by britishers and has old architecture, besides it has now been expanded and new buildings are built too. We have all the facilities that other colleges have plus a 24 hrs full ac library

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are available only for students staying out of mumbai. The condition of hostels is average and usually a room is shared by 3-4 students. There are 3-4 hostel buildings. 2 of which are inside and beside the campus whereas 2 buildings are little away from campus. Mumbai is expensive to live compared to other cities thats why living outside by renting a room is expensive and can cost upto 5000-6009 per month shared by 5-6 students for a 1 bhk flat

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Life of a Medico In Seth GS

The eligibility criteria for the course is 50%in core subjects i.e PCB and 50 %ile in neet which is equivalent to approx 120+ marks in neet. The application is available on the medical counseling website and there are also reservation benefits for SC ST OBG and other classes.
