Medical college is weighed based on number of patients they have in the hospital and since this is the only health service sector available to the whole district a great exposure to clinical practice can be experienced

The course is very hectic in the first year of mbbs because the time available to study and time to adapt the subject is very less that is 9 months. Curriculum has upgraded now with clinical exposure will be there from the second year. The dissection of the dead will teach us how to respect life and the importance of how serious the profession is when its a matter of life and death. The anatomy professor head if the department dr girish patil is well experienced and has innovative methods in teaching and many doctors who are working in this institution was a merit holder in their undergraduate days.

My college is government college and Intetnship is in the same college hospital at the end of 4 and half years of education. Stipens amount is 30000 per month. The internship is compulsory and rural service bond will also be taken from us in the beginning of admission promising to do service for a year in a rural area.

This is a Medical college.no placement process takes place in medcal college. Postgraduation exam has to be cleared to study further or you can work in a hospital as a junior resident or a tutor or practitioner in a hospital. But further studies is recommended

Campus life is excluded from the life of a busy city. In between the foothills of mountains with calm environment its a good place to read. But its so secluded from the city that its difficult for girls to roam around freely at night. There are occurances of wild animals too like boar and bear. Sightings of cheetha was also seen. Cultural events are all of small scale the funds are not given by the college to conduct college fests. We have not conducted any fests till now which ahs invited other colleges to the competition. But we do celebrate all the festivals with happiness with amount of freedom we get from the management. To be frank college doesn't support much for students to conduct cultural programmes. We have to plead to dean for more than a week to get the permission.

I have not availed any scholarships. But my friends have availed vidyasiri scholarship by the Karnataka govt. They have been applying each year and ecah year they have got around 30k and in the final year 50 k.

The government has sanctioned the area for playinground but the college has not made any arrangements in leveling the area. The college supports in sport competitions which will be hosted across the state. We have a small ground to play volleyball football and cricket condensed and its manageable. Free wifi is available throughout the campus. Library is facilitated with air conditioning books are scarce in number. The number of stocks has been increasing as the years are progressing. Every labs are well equipped and all the reagents and instruments are new and each student gets a chance to conduct the practical.

Hostel rooms have two beds two study tables and a fan and three tubelights and an attached bathroom for two people. In few rooms there are three students also due to the lesser rooms availability. They maintain the hostel corridors by sweeping and mopping it 2/3 days once and 24/7 hot water facility is there. U have to clean ur own room.
