Remarks

To begin with the college has a Good campus and a lot of social activities and better facilities than other universities in my town,plus I graduated from aloysius pu college makes it natural to continue in the same institution. I picked up my course cause I'm interested and invested in the scientific community

Course Curriculum Overview

Good,atleast for theoretical purposes.Focuses more on theoretical side rather than its applicational side especially math Probably wont help us in research. Computer science is pretty decent.Physics needs a bit more work to be done on

Well I've just spent one year in my college and I dont know a lot about the placement these things happen usually in the 3rd year(sem 5)

College Events

The events are much momentous and quiet entertaining and helps the students to showcase their talents and gifts which Is one of the good things about aloysius cant say the same for associations because of limited seats in some associations the students are forced to join the ones which they aren't interested in and hence they loose interest which results in unplanned and bland activities

Campus Life

The college has a structures are segregated according to the fields there is a block for science, commerce and one block for arts and computer applications the physics lab is not something the brag about but the computer lab is of top notch equipments the college ground is large enough for physical activities and ceremonies

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
