Remarks
The only thing that I would like the college to improve is to give more seats to the students coming via competitive exams like UPSEE or JEE Mains. The events and festivals in the college are enjoyable. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers try their best. The quality of teaching has improved since I had joined in first year. The teachers focus a lot on academics but if you are enthusiastic you can join various clubs of college as well like SAE, Dinobots, Uddeshhya, etc. The curriculum followed is decided by AKTU, Lucknow.
Placement Experience
Around 60% of the college students were placed across various campus recruitments for different companies in the year 2016-17. the highest package has been 14 Lacs. The average package is 3 lacs. Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Capgemini are the top recruiters. Not much idea about the top roles either. Mostly job roles were of Software Engineers.
Campus Life
Labs of Mechanical and IT department are better than some well acclaimed colleges. Other departments' labs are okay. In sports you can play Table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, cricket, basketball, and football there. If you love football, the football club of KIET is the place you would want to go. Medical facilities are limited to small cuts and wounds and viral fevers and you know small health issues. Best thing, there is the cafeteria.
