Remarks
It is autonomous college it is one of the most well known college in Mumbai it has a placement and teaching method all faculties are good it has 13 branches UMIT has been approved by the apex bodies like the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). It envisages an educational complex with state of the art laboratories, workshops and computer centre equipped with the latest equipment. It also envisions close liaison with the Industry and handling live Industry Projects as part of the curriculum. The curriculum has been designed to embrace modern developments in the field of technology to equip the students to face the challenges of the Industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties in our college are more concerned about our syllabus. However it is changing from last year we are facing little problem in our studies. But our faculties are very supportive so that it becomes easy for us to study. Industrial Visits are arranged for the industrial exposure every year.
Placement Experience
The average placement rate of USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is about 73%. Because this is tha girls college, all the opportunities are for girls. Most of the students get placed in Companies like Barclay's, Infosys and many more. In the Placement section, our college is better.
College Events
Campus life is much more enjoyable than other college teachers also took part in such fests Campus life is depends on how we are engaged with the curricular activities in the college. Still we enjoy a lot. Much more fests are celebrated like Xuberance from sports council. Also the ACM council conducts Techical fest and IEEE council conducts a cultural fest.Certificates are giben to the winners of various tasks and also the participants.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarships like Post matric scolarships are available for students. As I was applicable for post matric scolarship for OBC category, I availed that and now I have to pay half of the fees. And the Education loan facility is also available which can be availed by anyone of us.
Campus Life
Campus is very airy and fresh there is everywhere greenery roads covered by trees for each course there are saperate buildings there are 3 grounds there are two libraries in one building there are saperate labs for each subject
Hostel Facilities
I tried for hostel but I didn?t get admission because of lack of rooms so they decided this year hostel admission on the basis of rank and marks and from where student is belong there is 10 floor building for hostel in one room there are 3 girls only it has open balcony it is provided by lift as well as canteen it has a common hall it also provides wi fi to students
