Remarks

Firstly the campus is very beautiful and lavish. The infrastructure is impressive. It is a certified green campus. One of the best in entire North East India. The faculty is friendly and encouraging.

Course Curriculum Overview

The approach to education here is very future-oriented. They prepare the students for their upcoming life. The faculties as I said is very helpful. There are many certificate courses available which is very helpful

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are amazing. Top companies like WIPRO, The Telegraph, Quint etc come for interviews.

College Events

The campus life is to die for. They hold events almost every second month. There are Prom Days and college week with exciting themes. The students are very talented so we don't require to call in DJs or sound-people from outside. Everything is organised by the college students. There are many sports events, cultural competition etc held here too.

Campus Life

Top class infrastructure. One of the best to be expected in the North East. The library is great. The labs are well equipped. They provide wifi to students and the sports facility is great with a huge basketball court and indoor tennis/badminton court and a football ground. The gym of the college is well equipped as well.

Hostel Facilities

There are two hostels. One for girls and one for boys. Both are extremely well maintained. The discipline is great and all the friends I have from the hostel can never stop bragging about the amazing life they live there.

Is UCC good?

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

The course curriculum in the college is good and i do understand but i have some problem in arthimetics and ststistic as i was poor in mathematics.My decision for choosing this course is in have interest in computer and technologies so i'm choosing this course as it is professional course i may get some opportunities in getting job after completting my study.

We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . Course Curriculum Overview:

In UCC, earlier my brother and sister also studied and i could not make in Anthony's and Edmund's, so I choose this college. The allocation of college is one the best I have seen so far. It is best for those who want to be something in life because the college is little bit far from the main town and the local near this college also not allow any consumption of alcohol, drug, weed etc in the village. They even not allowed to sell them. I like this college as it is. So I don't want to comment on the improvements. The timing odlf exams is similar with other colleges, 3 hours.

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done.
