Its an institute of national importance and I am very much interested in fabric and clothing technology which is offered by only few colleges in India. It has a vast alumni network which will help me getting good summer internship. The placement scenerio is also big and huge with more no. of opportunities comprosing almost all the big companies of India. Vision and mission of the institute inspired me the most to chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Textile Faculties are strict compare to others. Syllabus is always updated in time. Talking about the industrial exposure, its not enough, didnt get any chance to visit industry till now. Faculties are strict but knowledgeable and good.
Placement Experience
The college have a vast alumni network, and this will help me land a great summer internship and placement.The campus placement cell covers almost all the best and reputed companies of the country offering handsome packages to students.The placement of cse, ece and textile is more than other branches.The job offer per 100 students is approx 80.
College Events
The campus life is literally. The year is full of events and extra curricular actitivities. Two yearly mega events namely UTKANSH and TECHNITI are mostly awaited ones. Utkansh is the annual cultural fest where as Techniti is the annual techno fest which are one of north india's largest fests. Footfall is around 10k to 20k every year. Then there is annual sports event which is also big and sponsored. Kite festival and many more.
