Remarks

IBS is a good college. Wanted to do MBA in finance and marketing and got selected in the college after giving a written exam and group discussion Also Preferred it because of the location as it was near my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academics was totally up to the mark. Study material was given by college semester wise. Specifically financial management, Project management and treasury management were covered very well. Three months internship was mandatory and was evaluated on the basis on presentation made and feedback from the mentor

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities offered at campus were good. Some of the very reputed companies visited like P&G, ICICI, HDFC, Airtel to name a few. Companies from all the fields visited and offered campus recruitment.

College Events

All the festivals were celebrated at college. There was one big event annually. There were different music and dance groups as well. We used to take parts in inter- college festivals which gave us an additional exposure

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house.
