College Events
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology, Surat has various clubs such as Malang (Dance Club), Akriti (Arts Club), Kirdaar (Draam Club), Drishti (Technical Clubs), Raag (Music Club), etc. Technical, Cultural and Management Fests such as Sparsh, Mindbend, Shamiyana, etc. It also has a start-up cell by the name Ashine.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a provision of fee remission for the students whose family income is less than Rs. 5.0 lakh as per orders received from GOI, MHRD.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is okay. It has separate Boys and Girls hostels. It also has a Canteen facility with cheap food and moderate food quality. Classrooms are decent. The library is equipped with nice collection of books and also has E-books.
Hostel Facilities
SVNIT infrastructure comprises of 8 hostels. For B.Tech I year students, it has Gajjar Bhavan which is Double Seated.For B.Tech II year students, it has Bhabha Bhavan which is Double Seated.For B.Tech III year students, it has Bhabha Bhavan which is Double Seated & Swami Vivekanand Bhavan which is single seated.For B.Tech IV year students, it has Swami Vivekanand Bhavan which is Single Seated.
