Remarks

It's a reputed college. Mainly joined it for its name and good placements. The exposure to different opportunities. The ability to be able to meet new people from many other places and being able to discover yourself and participate in different extracurriculars. I heard that it would help in my overall personality development and so I joined MIT. Also, because this town, Manipal is mainly know to be a student town. You are free to live on your own terms and work towards what you want to do.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course gets updated every four years where they give proper attention to what will be required by the student in the current times.I haven't gone through the industrial exposure phase as such so I cannot comment on that. MIT gives major importance to academics and attendance. I think my entire EEE teachers of the third sem are quite good. Dr Adiga, the HOD is an amazing professor. So is Vijayalakshmi ma'am, Bharati Ma'am and Susan Ma'am

Placement Experience

I'm not sure as I'm still in my third semester. I just do know know that the packages are good and top rank companies visit our college for placements.

College Events

Everything was at an enormous scale. We two events every year. TechTatva and Revels. Revels is more of a cultural fest, where many colleges participate in. It's more large-scale compared to TechTatva. Whereas TechTatva is a more technical fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know there's a scholarship provided by them based on your MET rank. Also thought AICTE. And there are a few loan facilities but I'm not aware of them as I have not availed them.

Campus Life

In this aspect, you can say everything is perfect. You have an accomodation for everything. There's two basketball courts, many football fields, a tennis court, a swimming pool. Furthermore, there's a sports Complex nearby. Lab equipments are in good conditions. The wifi is decent. The library always provides us with the books we need.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is good. You may need to persuade to akkas to clean your room a little sometimes. Also, the rules in the girls hostels are rather strict unlike the boys hostels. I have no idea about the PGs here. You are provided with hostel facility based on your marks. There's a whole system for it.

Hostel Fee: INR 190000 per year

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
