Remarks
I chose Amu because its one of the best central university in India and provides a two year specialisation course in Financial Management. Apart from the ranking, I love the calm and supportive environment that AMU have.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think the major problem that I being a central university face is the old school based lengthy syllabus lacking practical knowledge. The syllabus is lengthy with the same repetitive theory that we?ve already studied in graduation. Our syllabus needs to be cut short. It should focus more on quality than quantity.Because of COVID19 our internships got cancelled so we haven?t faced the offline work environment yet.

Placement Experience
We have a Training and Placement centre in Amu that manages and coordinates with various activities companies. Every year different different companies are approached. For eg Soft Niche is one of the company that responds every year.
College Events
Competitions are held in various fields like debate, now they?ve had organised an online singing event as well, extempore speeches and many more.There are certain events which are organised by university cultural club like literary fest, film fest, art fest etc
Campus Life
Amu and its infrastructure is famous. However my department needs a bit upgradation in its infrastructure and curricular activities.The library facility is good here with personal seminar rooms for each department and Maulana Azad Library as well.
Hostel Facilities
I?m a hosteller. Currently I am a resident in Begum Azizun Nisa Hall. It?s a newly constructed hostel with two blocks just for girls. The infrastructure is very good. The rooms are spacious, with proper cupboard facility. Considering the disabled students they?ve also included a pulley in the building.We have a mini gym where girls work out. We also have a common room with TV where one can watch the serial they want.
