Remarks
NIT Jamshedpur is one of the top-notch NITs of the country. Here more than 90% of students get placed. I have chosen the electrical branch because I was interested in that subject from the beginning of my intermediate. The best thing about the electrical branch on our campus is that it is teaching here since the campus established.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of our branch faculty members are very experienced, and they are the best in their field of teaching. Some professors are bad at explaining things to students. However, we are not supposed to expect spoon-feeding, and it is better to study from books in the library as it has a lot of books.A variety of faculty members are present in NIT Rourkela. Some of them give priorities to attendance while others mainly focus on research. There are some talented faculty members who not only teach well but also help students by counseling them and give proper direction to excel.
Placement Experience
In our branch, almost 95% of the students are placed. Students are placed in mainly IT sectors, consultancy sectors and a few core companies.As I'm from the core branch a vast numbers of companies visited in the last placement session. It includes companies from different domains Core, Automobile, IT, Consultancy. Around 90 percent of Students of our branch were placed last time which counts around 91 students.
College Events
Fests are another part of NIT Jamshedpur campus which spread a lot of joy. Most of the outsiders visit our campus during fests which makes you little more excited to roam places.There are 3 main evey i.e ojass,culfest and urja
Campus Life
It one is the perfect campus as it completes its intermediate. The campus is large with sports complex with both indoor and outdoor and different fields for football, cricket, hockey, basketball. Hostels are also well-maintained.Our college provides facilities like well-equipped laboratories, health facilities and hostels. It was the only choice of my parents also.
