Course Curriculum Overview
The exam pattern is really good. The progress presentation has to be approved by Research Academic Committee (RAC) after every six months. The suggestions given by them has to be implimented; which makes the research work more fruitful and makes it less prone to errors.
Placement Experience
ICMR, GOLDMANSACHS. Career couselling session is being initiated by the placement cells to train the students.
College Events
Unnayan( intra faculty cultural fest), Spandan(Inter department cultural fest), intra UNIVERSITY sports fest, Business plan competition, Kashiyatra, Technex, management premier league, Sevaarth, Kalpavriksha, international and national seminar, conferences.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite nominal.The transparency is being maintained. The university also provides the scholarship as per the UGC regulations. International scholarship is also being made available to the meritorious students. Alumni network also provides certain scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ugc JRF( JUNIOR RESERCH FELLOWSHIP) scholarship was availed by me as per the norms of UGC. After clearing the interview for the eligibility of SRF(SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP); the scholarship amount was increased.
Campus Life
Being a cocurriculam university, the gender ratio was balanced. Equal emphasis was given to the extracurricular activities for both boys and girls. The students were from Various backgrounds and different regions as well. There was no any discrimination based on the background.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, Triveni. Sharing with one partner. The food provided in mess was extraordinary with no surplus charge. The hostel staff were also very helpful. Laundry service of the hostel was also very nominal.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are very helpful as they keep providing the links for various job openings. They also provide scholarship and funds for various social activities.
Admission
Through Research Aptitude Test. The test is generally conducted in the month of June/july. Usually there are two sessions: September and March. The course work is of 6 months. It is a minimum two years residential program. The topic is being finalized after 1 year.
Faculty
Very good faculties with knowledge and experience. They are very friendly and helpful in nature. The class duration is of generally four to five hours. They all are PhD holders while some of them are DLit and PDF. Industry experience is also being possessed by many of the faculty members.
