Remarks

College was new and good place to learn. The location is very nice as it is out of city which make everyday travelling as long drive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mentor play an important role when it comes to curriculum or the research. My mentor in the college was preceding with ph. d in civil and it was fun to take the very hard subject knowledge from her. She was very much experiance in the subject. Thus everytime we learned something new.

Placement Experience

1.5

To be honest. They do not have campus placement. Infact for civil course there is no future after btech. Its advisible to go further studies. Its just a brief basic what is thought in graduation.

College Events

4.5

Technical fest, cultural fest, annual fest are few. Rest its like whole december is alloted for fest and events for the students. The events are made by students and participated by students. Faculty help enhancing and providing inputs to make the fest sucessful. We do not take the finance from college authority.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a fix fees charged by the college and gobt keep a cap of maximum to collect from student. The annual fees during 2008-2012 was 34000/annum. This was same all 4 year for every student of any branch or group. Aditional examination fees of 1200/semester was charged by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I have didnt opted for scholarship of education loan as the fees was reasonable and can be born by parents.

Campus Life

Gender ratio for the civil branch is always 90:10. Students are always energetic when in college. The word college when heared gives the energy day in day out. Workshops are as usual for civil branch students, cultural societies are been formed by students and taken care by the students.

Hostel Facilities

No. I have not opted for hostel as I wanted to stay in the city area rather then staying in the college hostel which is far from the city. Also the fees of hostel was very high comparitively staying in city.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much. General social platform is the only connection which we have. And more over the near ones are in contact but now in different corners of the world.

Admission

In 2008 I have appeared for eamcet exam which is now call as neet. I secured 34k rank in this examination. In the counselling I gt many option. But wanted to join j. b group of college and bhaskar engg college is one of them. And civil was the only option for me to this rank. Thus I opted for it. After taking the course I came to knw that there is wide scope in Civil.

Faculty

4

All the lecturers were graduate and has experiance in the teaching field. There are about 48 subject in the course which require atleast 750 lectures to complete. Its a 4 year full time programme. Multiple subject is mandate to clear with passing aggregate of minimum 50% pass mark.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.
