Sweet and sour

I have AIEEE entrance exam but unfortunately couldn't qualify. Then I got in contact with a consultant of this college who was a student himself of that college. He helped me to take an admission through donation. I chose B. Tech mechanical as i wanted to study that particular course. There was no interview taken. Simply they collected 10th standard and 12th standard documents and I was in.

Course was completed very sincerely and accordingly. Before semester exam, every course were completed anyhow without fail. Some faculties were good and talented whereas some of them lacked knowledge and experience. Standards of college was moderate. Not so high profile but not low class as well. Labs were provided with good and working condition. Infrastructure is also okay with good standard.

College internship was not as good as expected. According to the status of college, internship rate should have been high. Stipend offered by big companies like IBM and army selection were good but local companies and BPO companies offerred the worst stipend.

By the time of 2013, when I passed out, there were hardly any placements. In my 4 year of engineering life, i saw only 5 or 6 companies which came for hiring. If one company comes, they would hire 40 - 45 students at one visit. IBM and some local companies also came. Once recruitment for army came. And some number of times BPO companies came. IBM and definitely offered hefty package whereas local companies and BPO offered decent packages.

College used to organize technical events regularly in which dance competition, fashion show, PC game tournament, food festival were included. Many other colleges also came to participate in this festival. These festivals were sponsored by third party organizers namely IET 360 and TECHASTRA. College organized for bands also but very rare. These events used to be a big platform as other college students also used to participate.

No, this college haven't provided any scholarships. If they may have, then I don't have any idea about it. The college also haven't provided any loan facilities.

Campus life is very beautiful, full of enjoyment. There is happiness all around. Good cantene, small gardens, basketball court, ATM machine and a big car parking area is included in the campus. Gender ratio is 3:1 whereas girl ratio is 3 and boys is 1. Hostel parties were never arranged by college and students also never organized by themselves as college hostels were very strict.

Alumni are good specially local alumnus. They keep updating about our college through social networking sites. Senior students are sometimes cooperative but sometimes very tough depending on their nature. Mostly they are good. About 80% of them are good.
